Volunteer/Internship Opportunity

Become a LifeWise Ambassador

Seeking a few Special People to Join our Ambassadors Club

Now interviewing for a team of achievers, who take pride in attaining positive results through public relations

1 to 2 hours a month. As a volunteer Ambassador, you will represent the interests of LifeWise Community Projects, Inc., an independent nonprofit at public and social events. Examples: Chamber of Commerce - Business After Hours, Community Events, Volunteer Fairs, Board of Directors Meetings, Community Resource Network Meetings, Portsmouth Community Radio. Plan & attend recognition and training meetings for our project volunteers. Assignment rotations based on your availability.

Explain our programs: Water Guardians & Wildcat Youth Mentors. Write stories about our programs. Work with local media. Discuss & hand out descriptive information, arrange appointments and visitations. Put our best foot forward.

Attend meetings at local, regional and state levels individually or with LifeWise board members/volunteers. Transportation provided.

Must be a good communicator, able to project a professional image and pass a background check. Punctuality and reliability are expected personality attributes.

Flexible hours depending on your availability.

Event schedules will be provided in advance. You determine which activity and when you can help out.
