CitizensCorps is a government initiative which advocates public

founded by the AOL Time Warner Foundation and AOL, Inc.; the Cisco Foundation
and Cisco Systems, Inc.; and Yahoo! Inc., in partnership with over 20 nonprofit
foundations and associations who share the desire to foster the informed
use of the Internet for civic participation and philanthropy. The Website
aggregates content and resources from these leaders, organizes them and
makes them available in one comprehensive, easy-to-use destination, which
also helps to expand the reach, effectiveness and pervasiveness of all
of Network for Good's nonprofit partners.

Way of Greater Nashua
United Way of Greater Nashua is an independent and autonomous
organization run by volunteers who live or work in the communities of Amherst,
Brookline, Hollis, Hudson, Litchfield, Lyndeborough, Merrimack, Milford,
Mont Vernon, Nashua and Wilton. Our Mission is to be the community campaign
of choice among donors and the leader at efficiently and effectively meeting
the health and human service needs in our service area.
Voluntary
Action Center (Manchester, NH)
The Voluntary Action Center in Manchester, NH, provides year-round
and one-time opportunities for volunteers of any age, ability or configuration.
Retired and Senior Volunteer Program members, all age 55 or over, serve
at more than 100 stations. The Family Matters program places anyone related
legally, by blood or domicile at sites that are particularly family friendly,
both attitudinally and physically.

The Volunteer Action Center supports the United Way mission
to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another by
promoting and fostering volunteerism. The United Way of the Greater Seacoast
is one of 1500 independent, self-governing United Way organizations located
throughout the United States. It is overseen by a Board of Directors comprised
of business leaders and a cross-section of community volunteers from throughout
the region.
