Boston: The EPA has selected Bruce A. Montville EE as their recipient of New England's 2004 drinking water Environmental Educator Award (EE). Montville, of Barrington is CEO of LifeWise Community Projects, Inc., a private non-profit. Montville's award comes to him as a result of his five years in leading "Future Water Guardians of NH", a Safe Drinking Water Program being continually presented in classrooms to school children throughout New Hampshire. The Environmental Educator Award will be presented to Montville by EPA's Al Wong of their New England Regional Office. The ceremony will take place at the 2004 Drinking Water Festival on May 5th, Littleton National Guard Armory. Montville expressed appreciation upon earning his award to fellow professionals, volunteer members of LifeWise Community Projects, UNH interns, NH Dept. Environmental Services, NH Coastal Program, NH Science Teachers Association, UNH Cooperative Extension and especially to host schools and teachers. |
